What is Pledge Red?
Pledge Red is both a corporate safety program and a new fundraising initiative of the Washtenaw County Red Cross. It’s a win-win partnership. We help your company become a safer, more prepared workplace by bringing you first hand knowledge of the programs which comprise the safety net for Washtenaw County. In return, we ask for your support and involvement in easy ways that integrate with your company, staff, schedules, culture and values.
What if our company participates in the United Way campaign?
Thank you for your support! Invite us to your Campaign events to share our stories of saving lives. Designate your Red Cross as your choice agency on the United Way pledge form. Write-in: Washtenaw County American Red Cross, 4624 Packard Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
What is the Safety Plan Questionnaire?
We use the Safety Plan Questionnaire to identify steps you can take to increase workplace preparedness and safety in the event of a disaster, or medical emergency of one of your employees. By participating in the Pledge Red program, your company can become a safer, more caring workplace!
Why is Washtenaw Red Cross starting Pledge Red now?
Pledge Red is a new initiative which focuses on the mutual needs of the business community and your Red Cross Chapter. It truly is simple: your company could be a safer, more prepared workplace. And because local Red Cross chapters receive no direct funding from the government or the national Red Cross, our chapter needs more support in order to sustain vital community emergency response programs.
